According to the city’s website, Krispy Kreme will soon be sweetening up La Habra’s dessert scene with a new store at 1201 W Imperial Hwy. The franchise will be an integral part of the La Habra Marketplace center.

Setting up shop at the former Banc of California site, the donut destination will have a drive-thru that operates 24/7 for those who want a sweet treat at any hour. The store’s interior will be open from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

The upcoming facility, operated by franchisee Roger Glickman, will be approximately 3,630 square feet, and employ about 50 people, records state. It will offer the company’s famous doughnuts, along with coffee drinks.

This La Habra location will join the brand’s 700+ other stores. Krispy Kreme’s history traces back to 1937 with a doughnut recipe from a New Orleans chef, and it is still a company secret to this day, supposedly locked away in a vault.
