California-based Philz Coffee will open a new location in Brea this week. The shop will debut with limited-time fall drinks and seating for 48 guests. The latest opening will mark its ninth Orange County and 78th overall location.

Philz Coffee is preparing to serve the Brea community at Brea Mall’s new town center. The mixed-use center features restaurants, retail shops, luxury residences, and a resort-style fitness club.
A soft opening is set for Monday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1065 Brea Mall, Building C, Suite 1240, near Nordstrom and Rivian in the mall’s new outdoor park. The grand opening will follow on Wednesday, September 24, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On October 4th and 5th, Philz Coffee plans to donate 15% of its proceeds from the prepared coffee and tea drinks (excluding pre-packaged beverages). This is to assist the Brea Ed Foundation.
Philz Coffee’s newest Brea location can seat a total of 48 guests. Baristas will craft every drink using Philz’s signature pour-over method. Guests can expect clean-label ingredients and responsibly sourced green coffee beans.
Celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Brea community, the captivating aesthetics at the Brea location feature a bespoke mural by Lauren Cooper from Rosemont Lane. A signature ‘Cup of Love’ light fixture was adapted from the brand’s original San Francisco office.
