Alohana Açaí Bowls, the Southern California-based company known for its nutrient-packed superfood bowls and smoothies, is expanding. According to Eating Oceanside, the company is entering the Riverside County market soon, though exactly where is not known.

The news of the new store came after the brand was forced to shutter its Oceanside store due to leasing issues. In a goodbye message to the community, the company wrote, “Please come visit us at our other locations throughout San Diego and Orange counties. And stay tuned for our newest stores in East Oceanside, Camp Pendleton, and Riverside County (opening soon!)”.

Further details remain under wraps, and the business did not respond to a request for comment. However, the Alohana website already has a dedicated catering interest form for Riverside County events. The expansion efforts are being led by Chad Crites.

Founded in 2016 by action sports veterans Pete McAfee and Robert O’Quinn, Alohana began as a food trailer. Their mission was to bring healthy alternatives to the typical trade show fare of hot dogs and burgers. Currently, the company has seven stores and is growing.
