Salad and Go, a popular quick-serve restaurant chain, is working on another of its first California locations, this one in San Bernardino. The city announced that its planning commission approved the business building a store at 885 East Hospitality Lane.
A 1,000-square-foot location, it will have three drive-thru lanes: two for regular orders and pickups, and one specifically for mobile app order pickups. Its operating hours will be from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends, according to San Bernardino News Daily.
When asked for details about the location, Brandi Hale, Director of Community Relations, told the publication, “We don’t have a confirmed opening date for this location at this time.”
Founded in 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona, Salad and Go has revolutionized the quick-service food industry. The drive-thru only restaurant chain offers healthy, affordable salads, wraps, and breakfast items, made to order in less than 30 seconds.
With over 135 locations across Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Oklahoma, Salad and Go announced last year that it would be expanding into California. What Now Media uncovered evidence recently of the company working on a store in Indio.
