In-N-Out Burger is increasing its presence in Fontana, with plans revealed for a second location in the city. The company is developing on a property at 16014 S Highland Ave., just south of the 210 freeway.

The iconic fast-food chain will be among other new tenants at a proposed new 9-acre commercial complex led by Ladhar Group, Inc. There will be other restaurants, a banquet hall, and Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites.

While concerns about potential traffic congestion came up, the Fontana Planning Commission unanimously approved the plan, and a notice of construction appeared at the site weeks ago.

A Fontana Herald News article states that the In-N-Out would have clearance for 23 vehicles in the drive-thru. It will be a 3,885-square-foot building with 500 square feet of outdoor dining space.
