Ari’s Thai Eatery, a modern Thai restaurant known for authentic recipes and fresh ingredients, is getting ready to open in Anaheim at 430 S Anaheim Boulevard.
The company’s second location is set to move into the former home of 18 Folds, according to a recent liquor license application. While an exact opening date has not been announced, owners Ari Sastaravaha and Calvin Vuong are preparing the space for a full-service restaurant. Customers can expect traditional Thai dishes, including Pad Thai, curries, stir-fried noodles, and specialty items like Red Duck Curry and Soft Shell Crab Papaya Salad.
Ari’s Thai Eatery first opened in Azusa at 920 E Alosta Avenue and has built a reputation for combining family recipes with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant focuses on fresh, made-to-order meals with options for chicken, pork, seafood, beef, tofu, or vegetarian diners. The space will include indoor dining, takeout, and delivery options. The menu emphasizes dishes crafted with care, featuring small bites, soups, curries, stir-fry noodles, fried rice, and specialty entrees. Beverages include Thai Tea and mocktails such as Mojitos.
Signature dishes include Kra Pow Duck Breast with Fried Egg over Rice, Panang Brisket with roti, and Crying Tiger USDA Prime Ribeye with papaya salad. The menu also offers fried calamari, chicken satay, soft shell crab salad, and vegetable-forward options, giving customers a wide range of flavors and proteins. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, though the kitchen is not fully dedicated to allergen-free preparation.
The ownership team brings hands-on experience to the Anaheim expansion, overseeing menu development and operations. The new location will allow the team to reach a broader customer base while maintaining the restaurant’s focus on authentic Thai cuisine and friendly, professional service. Ari’s Thai Eatery is a sister concept to Diamond Bar’s Basil & Co., which is located at 23545 Palomino Drive, Suite F.
