Italian gelato brand Bacio di Latte may be coming to Huntington Beach, Orange County Health Care Agency records show. The company is reportedly considering a location at the Bella Terra shopping center, 7821 Edinger Ave., Suite 134.

Bacio di Latte submitted initial plans for review in early December. No inspections or approvals have been issued so far, and a timeline for the project is unknown. Maps show that the address is currently a Jamba Juice, but it is unclear when or why that will be closing; neither company returned requests for comment prior to publication.

Produced in-house daily, the brand crafts high-quality gelato using top-tier ingredients. It sources organic milk and creams from a family farm in the Sonoma Valley, European chocolates, and pistachios and hazelnuts from Italy, its website explains. Bacio also serves fresh fruit sorbets.

Its Southern California footprint has grown steadily in recent years. The brand operates across premier shopping corridors and mixed-use developments throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Fashion Island and Irvine Spectrum Center both house bustling locations, and another on the border of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa just opened last month.
