Bandera, 3201 E Coast Hwy. Southwestern eatery, is embarking on a renovation journey, records show. The Corona Del Mar business filed plans with the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division recently.

Earlier this month, the company submitted documents for a remodel of over 1,001 square feet. It’s in the heart of the city, near the beach and off the main strip of businesses.

Bandera has long been a local favorite, offering signature American cuisine with a Southwestern twist. Some of the menu items include Butternut Squash and White Cheddar Cheese Enchiladas, Wood Grilled Rib-Eye, and Bandera Style Roasted Chicken.

The establishment also has a wonderful bar. The handcrafted cocktails, from the Hillstone Negroni to The Crush and the iconic Margarita, every drink made here is superb. There is also an extensive selection of wines available.
