When the Thompson Palm Springs opens in the spring, guests and patrons alike will be sure to love the new Bar Issi. The lounge at the 414 N Palm Canyon Dr. Hyatt-owned property is set to offer a sleek mixology experience.

A liquor license application was submitted last month for the establishment and is currently listed as “pending”. While not much information is available yet on Bar Issi, Director of Sales Kelly Teo told What Now OC a press release is expected to be released soon.

The concept will have a sophisticated setting to enjoy cocktails in the heart of Palm Springs. News reports say it will have an indoor/outdoor bar area and a modern design. The hotel is being developed by Hall Group and designed by B2 Architecture + Design and SMS Architecture.

Opening in May, Thompson Palm Springs will be a lively spot for travelers and those in the desert looking to try out exciting new food and drink spots. The luxury hotel will also feature two restaurants and a wine-tasting room on-site.
