Yorba Linda’s The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar will transition to becoming Blind Coyote Cantina soon, recent press releases from the brand state. The 4975 Lakeview Ave. restaurant plans to move forward with the changes sometime late last month, a company rep tells What Now OC.
The Blind Pig will close on August 3, and the venue will then undergo renovations and staff will go through re-training. Once ready for business, Blind Coyote Cantina will open for lunch, dinner, and a daily happy hour, six days a week — Tuesday through Sunday.
New offerings will include enchiladas, chicken mole, and bay scallop tostadas. The drink menu will feature specialty tequila and mezcal cocktails, including reinvented favorites from The Blind Pig.
“After five years, it’s time for something new. The location is great and we’re excited to bring our guests something the area doesn’t have. Chef Karl will be able to dive into serving the food he grew up eating and have the chance to show off his heritage. We’re very excited to get the remodel complete and reintroduce ourselves,” owner Tony Monaco told the publication.
