Santa Ana’s MainPlace Mall, at 2800 N Main St, is slated for a new restaurant tenant, according to a liquor license application recently filled with the City.
Called Cali Kickin’ Crab & Brews, the restaurant is planned for suite 2140, once home to Asian-fusion eatery Wokcano.
Co-Owner Angelica Rivas on Wednesday did not immediately respond to What Now Orange County’s request for comment but acknowledged the plans in a text message.
Rivas, alongside Co-Owner Jessica Valencia, registered the business Cali Kickin’ Crab & Brews, LLC, with the California Secretary of State in August 2023 and filled the liquor licnese application in September.

Situated off the I-5, SR-55 and SR-22 freeways, MainPlace Mall is a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana just minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center. The center is owned and operated by Centennial, a national owner of major shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations.
Cali Kickin’ Crab & Brews would join a vast roster of existing restaurant tenants at MainPlace including Cancun Juice, Mr. Waffle, and Panda Express.
