Canyon Crest Winery, a boutique tasting room in Riverside that takes its name from the shopping center in which it was established, will be relocating roughly 10 minutes south to the Mission Grove shopping center at 301 E Alessandro Blvd, according to a liquor license application filed with the city on Monday, June 26.

What Now Orange County was able to connect with a representative of the winery long enough to confirm the news. However, the representative was not immediately available to provide further details.

Canyon Crest produces its wine on-site, sourcing grapes from around the world to pull together its extensive line of reds, whites, fruits, and dessert wines, including Pinot Grigio, Cabernet, Gewürztraminer, Syrah, Ice Wine, and more, as well as its signature Smoked and Smokeless Jalapeño, a red wine infused with sweet chili peppers.

What’s more, it offers daily wine tastings, bottling parties in which folks can customize their own labels, and various events such as live music and DJs, Paint and Sip, and seasonal wreath-making classes, all in an effort to “bring wine country to your backyard,” as described on its website.
