Car-nnoisseur, a unique and vibey concept that fuses coffee, cuisine, and collectible rides, is preparing for a major relaunch in Old Towne Orange after closing its first location. According to the recent updates from the brand, the company is working on a new location at 426 W. Almond Ave.
This new space is undergoing a full buildout, according to records from the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division. Plans were initially submitted in June, but approvals are still pending after revisions were marked as needed this week. Among the work that needs to be done is adding a massive grease trap and new custom steel and glass storefront doors and windows.
The café first debuted at 1250 N. Lakeview Ave. in Anaheim, but that spot was shuttered earlier this year. But the company and idea quickly gained traction for its unique blend of rare vintage furniture, collectible Porsches, and a healthy food and drink menu.
“We poured our heart and soul into our previous location. And devastatingly, it was short-lived. Not because our concept wasn’t a success. On the contrary, it was because of our success and rapid growth that we had to move,” the business posted. “Fast forward to today, we’re doing it all over again. Rebuilding our business from the ground up. We’re doing it bigger and more epic than ever this time. Something truly spectacular will open its doors in Old Towne Orange, hopefully by early 2026.”
The new venue will feature three spaces alongside the cars: The Kitchen, where chefs will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner from scratch; The Bakery, with daily artisanal pastries and breads; and The Coffee Roastery, with beans roasted in-house and a team of expert baristas.
