Hamilton Family Brewery is moving along in the transformation of its new permanent home. According to city records, the business is in the midst of construction and setting up operations at 8889 Archibald Avenue.

Owned by husband and wife team Josh and Crysten Hamilton, the company has proudly served the community for over 11 years, and was Rancho Cucamonga’s first brewery. It currently operates at 9757 7th St #802, which is in an industrial complex.

In March 2023, Josh spotted a “For Sale” sign and submitted an offer the next day, a post explains. It used to be Owen Electric Supplies. Old offices and restrooms were demolished for open brewing and tasting spaces. A 30-barrel, four-vessel brew house was installed, and an outdoor beer garden will have a pour station, covered patio, yard games, and food truck space.

Initially slated for a late 2024 opening, delays have since pushed the anticipated launch to sometime this summer, according to the most recent update. In June, Josh gave a look into the progress with the bathrooms, floors, and bar areas.
