Taiwanese restaurant group chain Din Tai Fung will be debuting in Brea next year, according to BreaNOW. It’s one of many new offerings expected to launch at the location as part of the mall’s revitalization project. Its address will be 1401 Brea Mall Lane.

A PR representative for the company told What Now OC the new outpost will be 13,000 square feet and feature seating for 300 guests. It is expected to open sometime in the summer.

This expansion marks another milestone for the internationally celebrated, family-owned chain, which has earned multiple Michelin Stars. Din Tai Fung’s menu features handcrafted dumplings, noodles, soups, wok-tossed vegetables, and shared appetizers.

Founded in 1958 in Taiwan, the eatery began as a small cooking oil shop before making dumplings and becoming a restaurant in 1974. Today, the chain operates across the United States, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Thailand.
