Finney’s Crafthouse, a popular family-owned American tavern and gastropub chain, is set to open its 15th location in 2025. The establishment will be taking over the former Ruby’s Diner spot at 215 S Brea Blvd Ste 103, social media posts show.

Founded in 2016 by Greg Finefrock, Finney’s Crafthouse has quickly become a staple in Southern California’s dining scene for its made-from-scratch dishes and extensive selection of craft beers. The restaurant is inspired by Finefrock’s nickname “Finney”.

Brad Finefrock, development executive, told What Now OC the brand is submitting plans to the building department in August and expects to begin construction in the fall. The estimated opening will be next spring.

The space will have a “1920’s Prohibition-area look and feel” featuring 100-year-old brick walls, reclaimed wood accents, and a copper beer system.  There will be a large central bar with 30 SoCal beers on tap, a family game room, and sidewalk patio seating.

“Our family is thrilled to be celebrating our 15th location in Dwight Manley’s awesome downtown project.  We are huge fans of the Brea community and are very excited to introduce ourselves to our new neighbors!” Finefrock said.
