A taste of Europe is arriving in Newport Beach as CasaDamí prepares for its opening in the newly renovated Peninsula Village. Co-owned by Camilla Caremoli and Dave Shah, the café and wine bar will be located at 2210 Newport Blvd Ste 101, a press release states.

CasaDamí will be an all-day concept that transitions menus and moods throughout the day. From opening to 11 AM, the business will offer coffee and pastries, lunch will offer cafe-style counter service, and dinner will consist of small plates and a wine program with over 175 bottles.

“Our vision was to create a space that feels like an extension of the European lifestyle—where friends gather over exceptional food, thoughtfully chosen wines, and a perfectly crafted coffee, from morning until night,” Caremoli said.

The space features a 15-seat marble bar and a floral-adorned patio that seats 40 guests, Caremoli told What Now OC. A lease was signed in December 2023, and it was originally supposed to open in January, but there have been delays. They are now doing a soft opening before officially welcoming guests.
