The internationally-renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão announced Monday, May 22, that it secured a lease for its eighth metro Los Angeles location, and third in Orange County proper, across from the Brea Mall at 311 S State College Blvd, with intentions to open later this year.
“We are thrilled to continue to bring our passion for providing Brazilian hospitality and unforgettable dining experiences to Orange County,” said Barry McGowan, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming the Brea community to our newest restaurant, showcasing our latest brand innovations and culinary discoveries for new and existing guests alike.”
According to a press release, all new innovations and enhanced experiences will accompany Fogo’s everyday offerings at the Brea location, including Weekday Lunch, Weekend Brazilian Brunch, Bar Fogo, Group and Private Dining, To-Go and Butcher Shop options in addition to Full-Service catering which includes on-site cooking with portable churrasco grills, gauchos – aka Brazilian cowboys – and a curated dining experience.
The new Brea location is just one of 12 that Fogo has announced in the first five months of this year, with additional leases signed in Washington, Maryland, New Jersey, and another LA-area location in Woodland Hills, all of which “supports the brand’s continued 15 percent restaurant growth across the United States.” What’s more, earlier this year Fogo also announced its intentions to enter Turkey and Ecuador.
