A new seafood dining destination is nearing its debut in Foothill Ranch, local blog 926OC reports. Fantacy Lobster House will open at 26712 Portola Parkway, and blend Chinese and American culinary traditions in a luxurious, upscale environment.
Public records from the Orange County Health Care Agency show the business has been working with they county through several rounds of plan revisions. It was finally granted approval to proceed with construction in the spring. The location was once home to a Denny’s.
General Manager Yassi Yasseri told What Now OC that he owner, named Andy, is from China. She said they are working on finalizing the menu and waiting for final permits. The seafood-centered dishes will offer different customizations of the crustacea: lobster pots, lobster pastas, lobster burgers, and more.
Renderings on the upcoming restaurant’s social media pages show a luxurious space adorned with gold accents. The 5,500-square-foot property will seat 80 guests, and is adorned with a nearly 1,500-square-foot patio for outdoor dining that will seat an additional 50.
