Pepper Lunch, a unique casual dining chain known for its interactive teppanyaki experience, is set to open a new location in Irvine. The restaurant will be located at 509 Spectrum Drive, according to county records.

Founded in Japan in 1994, Pepper Lunch has expanded its presence across Asia and North America. Diners can sizzle their meals right at their tables, making for an engaging dining experience.

Leading the charge in Irvine is franchisee Paul Tran, an experienced restaurateur with over 20 years in the industry. Paul’s journey began with consulting before he ventured into franchising. He previously owned nine locations of another brand before selling the company last year.

“This brand is personal to me. I’ve loved Pepper Lunch since I first experienced it in Australia nearly a decade ago. We want to do our part in sharing what we love with the rest of the market,” Paul told What Now OC.
