National craft beer bar and entertainment venue The Brass Tap will be expanding its presence to Anaheim, according to a tip sent to What Now OC. The franchise partnered with an operator to ink out a deal for a location at 8295 East Monta Vista Road.

Known for its extensive selection of local brews, specialty cocktails, premium wines, and upscale shareables, The Brass Tap has restaurants all over the country. It’s a Florida-based brand that was founded in 2007 by three restaurant industry partners.

In a recent interview, owner Paavn Patel shared that the lease for the Anaheim location was signed in December of last year. The project is currently in the permitting phase with drawings being finalized. He expects the new location to open in November.

“There’s a gap in the Anaheim market for a location with such a range of drinks options and great food,” Patel noted. “We’re pretty excited to bring all of the great beers from California to the Anaheim area.”
