Santa Ana has a new seafood spot on the way. Fresh Off the Boat Fish Grill, a concept from partners Ramsay Haralambous and Moe Ghazi, has filed for an alcohol license at 1501 W MacArthur Blvd Suite A.

This will be the third location for Haralambous and Ghazi, with Fresh Off the Boat locations already going strong in Tustin and Placentia. Ghazi’s name in particular might ring a bell for O.C. fast-casual aficionados, as he’s been the force behind over twenty restaurants in the area. Perhaps most notably, he’s the founder of  Cafe Panini, but has since sold his stake in the business.

Fresh Off the Boat Fish Grill specializes in, unsurprisingly fresh seafood. The twist is that the concept’s menu features riffs on both Mediterranean and Mexican classics, often fusing the two cuisines together. The expansive menu features appetizers ranging from shrimp ceviche to dolmas, grilled fish platters, tacos, pita wraps, and “Baja Bowls.” There’s also some fauna of the land available for the fish averse, with both carnitas and lamb gyro on the docket.

Fresh Off the Boat Grill will be on busy MacArthur Boulevard, just off the 405. What Now Orange County was not able to confirm an opening date for the concept.
