As large-scale renovations begin to refurbish the amenities and accommodations at the Great Wolf Lodge Garden Grove, more details are being revealed about what to expect. Records filed with the county show a new restaurant called Fireside is a part of the plans for the hotel, located at 12681 S Harbor Blvd.

Designed as a full-service, lodge-style dining concept, Fireside will be a welcome new addition to the resort. It serves American cuisine with shareable snacks, build-your-own options, and hearty entrées, and has an appealing cocktail list.

The eatery has opened in several other of the hotel’s remodeled locations, including the Pocono Mountains, Grand Mound, Mashantucket, and Grapevine. Reports say the Garden Grove upgrade will be similar to those properties, but no official details have been released, and the company did not return requests for comment.

Opened in 2014, the 603-suite resort and waterpark is just minutes from Disneyland and California Adventure. A family-focused brand, it has slides, splash zones, wave pools, lazy rivers, a bowling alley, and live-action game rooms to keep everyone entertained. The upgrades this year are reportedly valued at $40 million.
