Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to open a new location in Highland, according to the SB Sun.  The eatery will be part of the newly developing Greenspot Crossings, a 22-acre shopping center located at the northeast corner of the 210 Freeway and Greenspot Road.

A company representative told What Now OC the store is “slated for opening in Q2 of this year”. The franchise group behind this new location, CLK Hot Nash, LP, operates several other quick-service restaurant chains including Carl’s Jr. and Jamba Juice, and is opening a Dave’s Hot Chicken in Cathedral City.

It will be the latest addition to a rapidly expanding area where several businesses including Chipotle Mexican Grill and Starbucks just opened their doors. Once complete, Greenspot Crossings will bring over 150,000 square feet of retail space to Highland.

City documents state that the project is under the development of Treh Partners, with the help of Greenberg Farrow and Wilson Davis Associates architecture firms. Plans show nine new-build structures ranging from 1,800 to 37,000 square feet.
