The Golf Bar is bringing an indoor golf experience to Huntington Beach.
Founded by Christopher Go just days in 2020, the Golf Bar uses Full Swing simulators to allow golfers to play golf in less time than they would need on the golf course.
The simulator measures club and ball data at impact and in mid-flight. Golfers watch their ball enter the simulated world the same way they can if they were out on the golf course.
Currently, there are four simulators at The Bar’s Clairemont Mesa location in San Diego. Rates to use a simulator start at $30 for half an hour.
Customers can also use the Full Swing simulator to play other sports including zombie dodgeball, football and baseball.
The Golf Bar also serves food and beer to customers. Items on its menu includes Pizza, Crunchy Garlic Wings, and Loaded Spicy Quesadilla.
The chicken is baked and boneless, according to an article by San Diego Reader in 2020. The healthier prevents customers’ hands from being sticky, which helps them grip the golf clubs better.
“Four days after we opened, they announced the lockdown. We had to close.” Go told the San Diego Reader. “Then, with outside only, we couldn’t do any golf. So we concentrated on serving food. We set up tents, until it got unbearably hot out there.”
The new OC location will be at Huntington Beach Submarket, according to a Leasing Comps report.
The Golf Bar did not respond to inqueries for comment by the time of publication.
