Cypress-based Italia’s Pizza Kitchen — helmed by Brent Elzinga and Michael O’Brien — will soon take over the space at 2278 Newport Boulevard in Costa Mesa, the current home of Napa Valley Pizza & Pasta.
It’s unclear if the trio will continue operating Napa Valley as is, or if the Newport Blvd space will become a second iteration of Italia’s.
Elzinga tells What Now Orange County that the official “take over” date is not yet definitive due to a number of requirements that must be met.
