A new Jersey Mike’s shop will be coming to a newly-built shopping center on the outskirts of Winchester. Permit filings for tenant improvements show the brand will be taking over the shell at 35876 Winchester Road #100.

The location is anticipated to be open in May or June, franchisee Travis Trask told What Now OC. He said there is a 10-year lease, and they are “working through the permitting process.” Trask is a franchise owner of more than a dozen Jersey Mike’s stores and several Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations.

“We have been awaiting this location for a couple years; good things take time. We look forward to embedding ourselves into the community, supporting local schools, organizations, and 1st responders,” VP of Sales & Marketing Kristen Appel added.

While the location’s address is technically Winchester, it is very close to French Valley and Dutch Valley. Construction work that must be done includes partitions, ceilings, finishes, electrical, mechanical ductwork, plumbing, and adding a new walk-in cooler.
