Southern California coffee roaster Klatch Coffee is advancing its partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market, with more in-grocer shops to its development pipeline. The Laguna Niguel store at 27271 La Paz Rd., Suite B has recently been added to the list, county records show.

Orange County Health Care Agency records reveal the market has been tapped for a future cafe. Plans were received for the project, listed as a new construction restaurant under 2,000 square feet, on December 12. They are currently in review.

Laguna Niguel is the latest Sprouts location that’s expected to debut an outlet. What Now OC has been covering the many Klatch Cafes popping up across many of its SoCal properties over the last year and a half, including Fontana, Redlands, Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga, and Fullerton. Several others are still in the works.

Phase II of the collab launch, which focuses on Orange County, will be happening during the summer, Marketing Manager Justin Christopher told the publication. However, a debut date for Laguna Niguel has not been announced. Although official hours for the café have not been finalized, existing shops generally operate seven days a week, from around 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Sprouts location itself has long served the local community. The store previously operated as Henry’s Marketplace before rebranding to Sprouts Farmers Market following a merger in 2011, according to Patch.
