OCBJ reported that The District at Tustin Legacy is welcoming a new wave of businesses in 2025, including a sweet addition: Le Macaron French Pastries. Slated to open sometime this summer, the new dessert café will join a growing lineup at the shopping center, with the address 2407 Park Avenue.

Le Macaron has a delectable assortment of Italian gelato, French desserts, gourmet chocolates, and Italian coffee. Everything is made with natural, gluten-free ingredients and no preservatives, its website pledges. It was founded by Rosalie Guillem and her daughter Audrey Guillem-Saba in 2009, with the intention of bringing true French sweets to the US scene.

First-time business owner Jake (Phong) Nguyen is the franchisee for the new Le Macaron location. He has a 25-year background in research and development prior to connecting with the company. Nguyen shared with What Now OC that they are in the buildout phase and hope to welcome guests within the next two or three months.

“I want customers to enjoy delicious desserts in a fun and beautiful setting,” Nguyen told What Now OC.

Located near Bowlero, Planet Fitness, AMC, and Prego restaurant, the shop is in a great spot to catch the attention of visitors at the shopping complex. The District is one of the most popular in OC, with the center generating $636.5 million in sales last year.
