A family-owned Lebanese eatery known for its halal meats and traditional recipes is preparing to open a new location in Lake Forest. According to 926OC, House of Cedar Lebanese Restaurant will be “coming soon to Plaza El Toro”, a shopping center at 23354 El Toro Rd.

“From shawarma to mezzo, House of Cedar brings true Lebanese flavor to the table — crafted with care and served in a warm, inviting setting,” the post introducing the concept reads.

According to Yelp listings, House of Cedar previously operated in Irvine as part of Smart Kitchens. The page describes the venture as a family-run operation.

The restaurant’s mission is to “savor the taste of Lebanon” through dishes ranging from shawarma and kebabs to mezze and desserts. Its menu consists of appetizers, sandwiches, platters, soups, salads, specials, skewers, and more.
