A new restaurant concept is coming from the owners of Michi Tacos, a popular joint in Lake Elsinore and Menifee. Operators German and Karol Herrera are working on Quiero Brunch, set to open in Temecula’s Tower Plaza at 27423 Ynez Rd., Patch reports.
The venue will offer a unique, full-service breakfast and lunch experience rooted in authentic Mexican culinary traditions. There will be a diverse menu with options like chilaquiles, tres leches pancakes, churro waffles, and mazapán lattes. The restaurant will also feature Mexican drinks, including margaritas, micheladas, and pajarete.
Records show a conditional use permit was applied for in February. The business will take over a 2,287-square-foot space that was previously home to The Urban Island restaurant. It will be open daily and employ a staff of around 80 people.
Last month, the business posted that it would be hosting a job fair. It’s looking to fill various positions at the eatery, including hostess, busser, food runner, bartender, servers, prep cook, line cook, executive chef, master baker, and dishwashers,
