Anaheim will be getting a new pizza spot. Mama Roscoe’s Pizzeria has filed for an alcohol license to open at 444 N Lakeview Ave. According to Facebook, the team plans to open doors sometime in March.
Mama Roscoe’s is the result of a partnership between owners John Barron and Dwayne Allen Roscoe. For Barron, an experienced businessman in the Orange County area, this will be the first foray into hospitality. He is, however, a veteran of the packaging industry, most recently running a firm in the cannabis space.
For the menu, look for pizzeria classics, done up simply and home made. The selection of pies–which feature a thicker crust and copious amounts of cheese– ranges from plain cheese to BBQ chicken. There’s also a few options for wings, as well as a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, headlined by a meatball sub made with the Roscoe family’s proprietary meatball recipe.
Mama Roscoe’s Pizzeria will be just off the 91 Freeway, in a busy shopping plaza on Lakeview Ave.
