Mendocino Farms Is Slated To Open In Newport Center

Chain-sandwich joint, Mendocino Farms will be opening its doors in Newport Beach according to permits with the city.

Well-known sandwich and salad joint, Mendocino Farms is set to open its doors in Newport Beach in Newport Center at 849 Newport Center Drive according to permits from the city.

Upon being contacted by What Now Orange County, the chief development officer, Reid Tussing of Mendocino Farms was unavailable to comment on the opening date of the new location.

The fast-casual restaurant chain is known for its loaded, signature salads and sandwiches. The menu offers vegan and gluten-free options as well as deli sides, soups, and housemade drinks. There is a kid’s menu included at the sandwich spot.

Along with the new location in Newport Center, there will be three other locations opening in Orange County. One in Laguna Niguel come Fall of 2023, another in Mission Viejo in Late 2023, and lastly one in San Juan Capistrano at an unspecified time in 2023, according to Mendocino Farms’ restaurant.

The chain restaurant has expanded through many locations in California and Texas. In recent times it moved up to Washington with one currently open location in South Lake Union and another soon to come to Downtown Seattle on August 29th of 2023.
