Popular fast-casual chain Mendocino Farms has filed for an alcohol license for a new location in San Juan Capistrano. According to the brand’s website, they plan to open at 31880 Paseo Adelanto sometime in the summer of 2023.

The concept, which is famous for their fresh made “Cheffy Sandwiches,” divides that section of the menu between “Foodie Favorites,” like “Sweet Heat Crispy Thai Chicken,” and “Craveable Classics,” like the “Chicken Pesto Caprese.” For diners looking for items not between bread, Mendocino Farms also offers a selection of “Soulful Salads,” bowls, and deli sides.

Founded in 2005, Mendocino Farms has become a California fast casual powerhouse over the last decade and a half. The group currently operates a whopping fifty-three active and upcoming locations in the state, with seven of those in the Orange County area. Mendocino Farms, has also developed footholds outside of the state, with a strong presence in the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth markets, as well as a spate of locations coming to Seattle in the new year.

The San Juan Capistrano location will be just off Highway 5, near the busy intersection of Paseo Adelanto and Del Obispo.
