A popular Chicago chicken concept will be adding a West Coast location. The second GG’s Chicken Shop is coming to Anaheim’s Downtown Disney District, according to Disney Geek.

The business comes from a partnership between Boka Restaurant Group and Michelin Star Chef Lee Wolen. Its namesake comes from Wolen’s mother and is a nod to his family poultry sandwich recipes.

With a menu of rotisserie chicken sandwiches, chicken burgers, and salads, the joint is a great option for a hearty meal. Sides at GG’s Chicken Shop include home-cooked comforts like waffle fries, sweet elote corn, mac and cheese, slaw, and smashed potatoes.

The brand started as a ghost kitchen during the pandemic and moved on to open a location in Chicago this year. It’s a counter service concept with an open kitchen so customers can watch the rotating rotisseries, and offers carry-out and delivery service as well.
