Growing, popular Southern California bakery My Panecito is expanding to Santa Ana, according to the brand’s website. The address 1111 S Main St is listed on a map as “coming soon”, but the timeline for the new outpost, one of many the company is working on, is unclear.

The Santa Ana site is a 1,800-square-foot commercial space zoned for retail and food businesses, LoopNet states. Records show it has previously housed concepts like Princess Cakes, Amazing Cake Creations, and Continental Bakery.

My Panecito coming to Santa Ana is part of a larger growth plan in Southern California that also includes upcoming stores in Orange, Bell, and Norwalk. The Orange location will share a kitchen with Loaded Cafe, but it’s not clear if the others will be dual concepts as well.

Known for its creative takes on traditional Mexican treats, the bakery’s popular items include stuffed conchas filled with ice cream, inventive pan dulce varieties, specialty cakes, and house-made Mexican coffee and shakes.
