Klatch Coffee, a family-owned specialty coffee roaster, is continuing with its partnership to bring cafe options to Sprouts Farmers Market locations across SoCal. City records show the brand is working to open a Klatch Cafe at the grocer’s 6942 Warner Ave. store in Huntington Beach.
Building, electrical, and plumbing permits were submitted in July, showing intent to add a quick-service outlet at the grocery store. The estimated build valuation is listed as being between $200,000 and $400,000. Stephanie Piegzik of Sevan Solutions is named as the applicant.
This addition is part of Klatch Coffee’s ongoing collaboration with Sprouts, which What Now OC covered extensively last year. Intra-store cafes were added at markets in Fullerton, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Eastvale, and Redlands.
Started by husband-and-wife team Mike and Cindy Perry in 1993, the local roaster has served the SoCal community for over three decades. In the time, the company has earned numerous U.S. and World Barista Championship awards over the years.
