Mother’s Market & Kitchen, a Southern California-based organic grocer and cafe, is preparing to open a new location in Dana Point at 24040 Camino Del Avion, Suite G.

The Dana Point location will replace Monarch Beach Market, marking the company’s 12th location for the Costa Mesa-based chain, according to The OC Register. The company plans to open in Spring 2026 and is hosting multiple hiring events in March and early April to staff the new store. Customers can expect the signature Mother’s Market offerings, including fresh, organic groceries and wellness-focused prepared foods.

Founded in 1978, Mother’s Market & Kitchen has grown into a regional leader in organic and plant-based foods, offering chef-crafted meals, premium supplements, and seasonal produce. The brand began in Costa Mesa and has since expanded to 11 additional locations across Southern California. Its growth has been driven by a focus on quality, healthy living, and creating a welcoming space for the community.

The Dana Point location will feature The Organic Cafe and an on-site juice bar, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner with seating available. The menu highlights smoothies, organic juices, wellness shots, sushi, soups, and made-to-order dishes like poached egg breakfast bowls, chicken salad, and quesadillas. Many items are vegan, gluten-free, or organic, reflecting the company’s focus on health-conscious dining.

Mother’s Market emphasizes combining grocery shopping with a lifestyle experience, offering curated supplements, prepared foods, and fresh produce alongside educational and wellness-focused initiatives. The Dana Point store will continue this approach while serving the coastal community with both grab-and-go and dine-in options.

The new location will be an accessible hub for customers seeking organic meals and health-forward groceries, joining Mother’s other Southern California locations in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach, and Sunset Beach. The opening reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its footprint while maintaining its core values of wellness, sustainability, and community.
