Nava Sausage Co., a SoCal-based family-run artisanal sausage company, is making big moves to expand the business with a stall at the highly anticipated Redlands Public Market. Located at 330 3rd St, the new food hall will host different food and drink concepts, most of them local.
Known for its handcrafted sausages made with premium cuts of meat and in-house blended spices, the company is owned by Edward Nava. He has spent over 30 years perfecting his craft, and also runs a food truck called The Wicked Sausage, serving freshly grilled sausages on toasted buns, its Instagram page shows.
The company announced on Facebook in December that it would be joining the lineup of options at the facility — one of 18 getting ready to serve the public. Other expected vendors include Aice!, Baba’s Hot Chicken, Cornerstone BBQ, Crepes de Paris, Fred’s Red Tacos, Hen & Heifer, and Jojo’s Kitchen.
The Redlands Public Market, housed in the historic Mutual Orange Distributors Packing House, has been in the works since 2019. A grand opening has not been announced, but a sneak peak event was held this week to give ticket holders a glimpse at what is to come, SB Sun reports.
