Chick-fil-A is set to expand its presence in Orange County with a new restaurant planned at the corner of Rose Drive and Alta Vista Street in Placentia. City and county records show that the company was recently approved for the project.

This development will be part of a larger project that includes new residential and commercial spaces on an 8.45-acre lot. The Chick-fil-A restaurant will be situated in a 5,500-square-foot new construction building.

There will be four designated outdoor dining spaces on the site, a drive-thru lane, and a 95-space parking lot, records show. The commercial area will total approximately 10,420 square feet, with 2,000 square feet dedicated to a coffee shop, and the remaining space allocated to other retailers.

Records state that the project was approved by the Placentia City Council on July 24. Chick-fil-A is now in the “Building and Planning Plan Check” phase. The company didn’t respond to comment on a timeline for the location.
