Go Greek Yogurt is set to open new locations in SoCal, with a new franchise agreement solidifying momentum to expand. According to a press release from the company, the deal includes development plans in Laguna Beach, but a site has not been chosen yet.

Sweetzer Capital, a hospitality group led by James Marzouk, has partnered with the brand to help with its growth goals. The company is striving to reach 50 locations worldwide in the next two years. There are currently 13 stores open and a few more listed as “coming soon” on its website.

Founded in 2012, Go Greek Yogurt serves traditional and frozen Greek yogurt with customizable toppings, as well as sweet and savory Greek Bowls. The brand is wildly popular and known as a regular spot for A-list celebrities.

In addition to a Laguna location, Sweetzer Capital will also open a store in Palm Springs. What Now OC also covered when the company signed a 25-unit development agreement with PopUp Bagels this spring.

“Go Greek is a brand that checks every box. It’s aspirational yet accessible and already resonates with an incredibly loyal audience. We’re excited to bring Go Greek’s unmistakable energy to more lifestyle-driven Southern California communities that value wellness and great taste. This is just the beginning of what we believe will be a long and flavorful journey together,” said Marzouk.
