A new eatery will open at the Palm Springs Art Museum soon, according to Palm Springs Life. Livs is a restaurant that will be on the ground floor of the 101 Museum Drive property.

The establishment comes from Woo Hospitality LLC, a brand established by chef Gabriel Woo and his wife Jackie. It is named after their daughter and described by Woo as a “cool, buzzy restaurant.”

Woo has an extensive history in the culinary world: he’s worked at a long list of desert area venues, from Tamarisk Country Club and Stuft Pizza to Holiday House, Sparrows Lodge, and Bar Cecil. He also ran a business called Global Kitchen Catering Company.

Livs will have a bright environment, with a floral theme and a lovely patio area with views of the mountains. The menu will consist of a wide range of flavors, from crabcake rolls and lobster rolls to omelets, eggs Benedict, and pancakes.
