Refik Youssef and Mina Farag, the dynamic duo behind the popular Exotic Snacks chain, are set to introduce a new dessert haven to Cypress. This August, they will open Nobibi at 10953 Meridian Dr, according to an exclusive tip sent to What Now OC.

Youssef and Farah are now bringing their signature creativity to Nobibi, a dessert brand that’s been growing steadily through franchising. The chain offers a range of imaginative and delightful treats that excite the taste buds and provide a visually stunning experience.

Its menu features the renowned Dream Cloud Ice Cream, a unique, melt-in-your-mouth dessert, as well as signature drinks such as the Brown Sugar Boba Milk and Lychee Sparkler. The brand’s website advertises that the Cypress location will offer mobile app pickup and delivery.

“Nobibi is more than just a dessert shop—it’s a place where every bite is an experience. From the quality of ingredients to the creativity behind every product, we knew this was the perfect brand to expand with. Our vision is to turn Nobibi into a household name, opening more locations and sharing these incredible treats with even more communities,” they told What Now OC.

This new Nobibi will be located in the Meridian Plaza, amongst businesses like Starbucks, AB Teahouse, Nails Galore, Sushi World, SalonCentric, Cypress Threading Studio, and Alex’s Hair Salon. While a unit number is not yet available, a number of spaces within the center have opened up in recent years, with maps showing companies like Cypress Flowers, Five Guys, H&R Block, Curry House, Sub Shop Sandwiches, and Chodang Tofu & BBQ are no longer open.
