For the last seven years, chef Jimmy Stafford has been serving hungry Orange County locals through his meal delivery and catering service, Stafford Prime. Now, he’s ready to take the business to the next level with a new restaurant called The Parlor.
The Parlor is currently under construction at Red Hill and Bell Avenues in Tustin, where the restaurant will share kitchen space with Stafford Prime. The kitchen will be equipped with a wood-fired oven and dedicated stations for fresh pastas, salads and gelato to be prepared on site, while the customer dining area will feature a grab-and-go cooler stocked with daily menu offerings.
Where Stafford Prime is known for their hearty and elevated dishes for all meals of the day — from Green Chile Cheese Frittata for breakfast, to Chicken Saltimbocca and Paccheri Puttanesca for lunch or dinner — Stafford tells What Now Orange County that he looks forward to expanding the menu with The Parlor. By November, he should be able to move in and start using the kitchen to continue his catering services.
The Parlor is slated to make its public debut by January 2023. Until then, Stafford will be planning out the new restaurant’s menu and other details, all while continuing to serve Orange County through Stafford Prime. For updates, follow @theparlorsp on Instagram.
