OCVIBE, a transformative mixed-use development in Anaheim, is set to open a new 5,000-person capacity concert hall as part of its expanding entertainment district, with an anticipated opening in early 2027 at 2610 E Katella Ave.

The OCVIBE Concert Hall will feature an innovative design, including multiple bar concepts throughout the venue, to enhance the overall guest experience, according to a press release. The new venue, which will host a range of events from concerts and comedy shows to esports tournaments and private events, is designed by Populous and will become a significant addition to the area’s entertainment infrastructure. While an exact opening date remains pending, the venue is expected to offer an immersive environment for both guests and performers, combining state-of-the-art acoustics with high-quality hospitality.

A key feature of the OCVIBE Concert Hall will be its multiple bar sites strategically located throughout the venue, each designed to complement the dynamic atmosphere. Renderings show several full-service bars, ensuring fans can enjoy premium beverages while taking in the show. This focus on elevated guest services is part of a broader effort to make the concert hall one of the most artist- and guest-friendly venues in Southern California. Additionally, the venue will offer exclusive spaces, such as the Gallagher Club and VIP areas, with private access to further enhance the experience.

Located within the larger OCVIBE development, the concert hall will be part of a growing collection of performance venues surrounding Honda Center, including the upcoming Golden Bear venue. OCVIBE is being developed as a $5 billion, 100-acre campus, with the first phase—including the concert hall and Katella Commons market hall—set to open in early 2027. When fully complete by 2033, OCVIBE will offer a mix of residential, dining, and entertainment spaces, including three major performance venues designed to support artists at every stage of their careers. What Now previously reported on OCVIBE’s ongoing developments and its efforts to transform the area surrounding Honda Center into a year-round entertainment destination.

“Artists won’t just play at OCVIBE, they’ll grow here,” Eric Bresler, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at OCVIBE, said in a press release. “With the addition of the concert hall, we’re creating a rare ecosystem where an artist can move from an intimate club to a mid-size room to a major arena, all within one connected campus in the heart of Orange County, designed to support creative production and long-term touring relationships.”

The venue’s design will focus on offering a premium experience for both performers and fans. The layout will include six artist dressing rooms, private suites, and a flexible open-air backstage area. With its state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system and exceptional sightlines, the concert hall promises to deliver an immersive experience for everyone involved, whether they’re performing or attending.

With multiple bars, premium hospitality, and a growing portfolio of entertainment venues, OCVIBE is positioning Anaheim as a dynamic entertainment destination. The concert hall’s opening in early 2027 marks the next step in making OCVIBE a must-visit location for both local and touring talent, and a standout venue for live performances in Southern California.
