Ojos Locos, a popular Mexican sports bar and restaurant chain, is set to open a new location at 390 E. Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino. According to its website, the venue is “opening soon”, but there is no timeline available, and the brand did not respond to requests for comment.
The new San Bernardino location is strategically positioned in a high-traffic area near the intersection of Hospitality Lane and S. Waterman Avenue, with visibility from the I-10 Freeway. It previously housed a TGI Fridays, which abruptly closed its doors earlier this year, as reported by Daily News.
Leasing records for the property show it can accommodate up to 298 guests between its indoor dining space and its outdoor patio. The space already came with a fully equipped kitchen, contemporary bar area, and ADA-compliant features. It was priced at $4.75 million.
Founded in 2009, Ojos Locos has rapidly expanded across the southwestern United States, with over 15 locations in Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Nevada. The eatery blends traditional Mexican cuisine with a lively sports bar atmosphere, with a variety of dishes and a selection of beers and cocktails.
