Popular Southern California bubble tea brand Omomo Tea Shoppe is expanding to Tustin, according to its website. The company teases that the location is “coming soon” to 554 E. 1st St. #39, in the Larwin Square Shopping Center.

The 1,580-square-foot space sits among high-profile tenants such as Crunch Fitness, The Boiling Crab, Daiso Japan, 99 Ranch Market, Big 5 Sporting Goods, and Starbucks, according to Kimco Realty. It will be the sixth shop for Omomo, which has a footprint in Chino Hills, Irvine-Walnut Village, San Diego-Del Mar Highlands, Brea, and Aliso Viejo (which just opened).

Founded in mid-2017 as Tancca Tea House before rebranding to Omomo the following year, the company has become a local favorite for milk tea. The stores have sleek interiors and serve up photo-ready drinks, making it the perfect trendy place to grab a beverage.

Omomo Tea Shoppe submitted plans to the Orange County Health Department regarding the Tustin location, but the status of the project is unknown. The company did not return requests for comment.
