A new Vietnamese spot is taking over the space in Cypress after Super Mex closed its doors. Pho Hoa, a growing national franchise, is slated to welcome guests soon at 6830 Katella Ave. Suite B, according to community posts.

The brand confirmed to What Now OC that a franchise unit is being launched by a first-time restaurateur, Phat Truong. He will manage the business along with his wife and son. They plan to operate in soft-open mode for a while to get the team and kitchen running well.

“We are so excited to have Phat Truong on board as a local franchise owner. His dedication to excellence and community engagement makes him the perfect partner to bring Pho Hoa to Cypress,” said Quoc Phan, CEO/President.

Customers can enjoy a menu featuring traditional and fusion-style pho, vermicelli bowls, rice plates, Vietnamese snacks, and a broad beverage selection. Its website shows milk teas, fruit teas, blended drinks, and the brand’s Tropical Series, made with real fruit juices like lime, guava, pineapple, lemon, and more.

“I wanted to bring Pho Hoa to Cypress because I felt this community deserved more options for fresh, comforting food made with care. Pho has always been a part of my life as a way to gather with family and share stories & I wanted to bring that same experience here, without cutting corners,” Troung told the publication.
