Project Social, a popular Dana Point-based restaurant and bar, is set to open a new location in Laguna Niguel in late 2025, according to Aliso Viejo Living. The new venue, located at 27100 Alicia Pkwy, was previously a Boston Market and will be transformed to accommodate the new business.

Construction for this location will begin in the early summer, with an anticipated opening in late fall, likely around October or November 2025, General Manager Kortney Jones told What Now OC. It will have both indoor and outdoor dining areas, with a coastal-modern design and murals from local artists.

“We’ve always believed that great food, great drinks, and great people make the best kind of place. Bringing Project Social to Laguna Niguel is an exciting step for us, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of this amazing community,” she said.

This new Project Social location will feature dishes with locally-sourced ingredients and items like burgers, seasonal salads, shareable tapas, and craft sandwiches. There will be a curated cocktail program, local beers on tap, and a seasonal wine list available.

Founded in 2019, Project Social became a beloved neighborhood staple in Dana Point. Offering more than just food and drinks, it’s known for its community events, laid-back atmosphere, and great happy hour deals. Its website states that it is a dog-friendly establishment.
