Kei Concepts, the OC-based hospitality group known for many innovative Asian-inspired concepts, is preparing to launch its newest venture: QUA. The company’s website teases the restaurant, coming to Huntington Beach, as a seafood-driven dining destination.

“QUA presents a fresh take on Contemporary Chinese Cuisine, inspired by Cholon’s Sino-Vietnamese heritage,” a description reads, adding that it will feature “family-style classics reimagined with modern flair—bridging nostalgic flavors with today’s sophisticated dining experience.”

A number of job postings online show that Kei is currently hiring for both front- and back-of-house roles, including a Sous Chef position and serving jobs. An opening date of the restaurant is listed as “TBD” and there is no listed address yet. The company did not return requests for further details at the time of publication.

QUA will join Kei Concepts’ diverse restaurant lineup, including SUP Noodle Bar (Northern-style pho), VOX Kitchen (Chifa fusion), NEP Café (modern Vietnamese dining), KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya (chef-driven Japanese), ROL Hand Roll Bar (sushi-focused), INI Ristorante (Japanese-Italian fine casual), Kei Coffee House (global coffee), and GEM Dining (Michelin-recognized Saigon tribute). It continues to steadily add brands in OC.
